Fendt adds more power to 300 Vario
Fendt has revamped its baby 300 Vario tractor range, bumping power up to 135hp and adding Selective Catalyitic Reduction (SCR) technology to help meet stage 3b emissions regulations. All tractors in the range are powered by a 4-litre, 4-cylinder Deutz common rail engine and inherit the same electronic engine control, turbocharger with electronic wastegate and viscous fan used in the manufacturer’s higher horsepower tractors. Fendt says these changes and the addition of SCR have improved fuel consumption and boosted torque by 43%. The range-topping 313 Vario has a maximum output of 135 hp and, as with all other models in range, includes the TMS tractor management system as standard. Rear lift capacity has been increased to 6 tonnes across the range, which is over a half a tonne more than previous 300 series tractors. Steering lock has also been improved and the new models have a turning circle of 4.2 metres. A new on-board computer has been added and purchasers can spec optional cab and front axle suspension.Fendt has revamped its baby 300 Vario tractor range, bumping power up to 135hp and adding Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) technology to help meet stage 3b emissions regulations.
