Final call for grain brains

ONLY ONE month remains for businesses using home-grown grain to enter the Home Grown Cereals Authority Enterprise Awards scheme.

Between £5,000 and £50,000 is up for grabs for innovative ideas that boost use of UK-produced cereals or oilseeds in either food, drink or industrial sectors.

Winning companies also benefit from significant management consultancy and marketing support from the HGCA, said chairman of HGCA market development committee Julian Gibbons.

Deadline for applications, which can be filled out in minutes on the HGCA website, is June 30, 2004.
