Get your grainstore questions answered

After another year of dodgy harvest weather, many farmers will be wondering if there are ways they can boost throughput or reduce the labour requirement in the grainstore. And the best way of starting that process is probably a visit to this year’s UK Grain event.

UK Grain is now in its sixth year and gives farmers a good opportunity to consider their storage handling, drying and marketing needs. It’s also a chance to talk to all the main equipment suppliers to make sure you get the right equipment when it comes to investing grain handling equipment, driers and crop monitoring equipment.

Tom will set the scene and explain the business’s reasoning behind the set up.

1:30pm Case study: William Forsyth from Forsyth Farmwork Ltd

Aside from the trials and tribulations caused by this summer’s weather, harvests of the past two years have been a more efficient and more easily managed operation for father and son team Anthony and William Forsyth of Warwicks-based Forsyth Farmwork.
