Glendale bale trailer gets roll-over canopy
Northumberland firm Glendale Engineering had its latest aid for sheep farmers on display at the Aberdeen Show.
Designed to be towed behind a quad or ATV buggy taking feed to hard-to-access areas, the trailer will accommodate a standard 1.25m (4ft) round bale and has a roll-over tarpaulin canopy to keep the weather off the forage.
The standard 1.7m long version costs ÂŁ950, while the 3.6m and 4.8m models for handling big square bales are priced at ÂŁ1,020 and ÂŁ1,400, respectively. Galvanising adds ÂŁ150 to the price.
