Northumberland firm Glendale Engineering had its latest aid for sheep farmers on display at the Aberdeen Show.

Designed to be towed behind a quad or ATV buggy taking feed to hard-to-access areas, the trailer will accommodate a standard 1.25m (4ft) round bale and has a roll-over tarpaulin canopy to keep the weather off the forage.

The standard 1.7m long version costs £950, while the 3.6m and 4.8m models for handling big square bales are priced at £1,020 and £1,400, respectively. Galvanising adds £150 to the price.
