Orbital bale wrappers for tractor hitch and loader mounting will be unveiled by Tanco at Lamma as a replacement for the current Tanco 1320 model.

The VS200 loader-mounted version is primarily for working at the storage point because it can wrap and then place a bale in a stack, while the VS300 linkage-mounted model is primarily for field use.

Both are 70mm bigger than the previous machine to permit wrapping of bales up to 1.45m diameter; the tubular chassis is said to be stronger – coping with heavier bales and faster transport speeds; and they can work with load-sensing tractor hydraulics without modification.

A dual-stretch mechanism with one bolt changeover from 55% to 75% pre-stretch is standard. A more versatile film cut and tie mechanism has been developed and up to four spare film rolls can be carried.
