Pronar tedder offers weapon in weed battle
Polish company Pronar has launched a rotary tedder, which along with its typical grassland uses, can also help arable farmers destroy weeds and crops on stubble land that have emerged after harvest.
The 9m working width machine folds neatly down to a road transport size of 2.9m and only requires a modest tractor of about 50hp.

There are eight rotors each with six arms which all have cushioned suspension to follow ground contours, we’re told.
Outputs of 9ha/hour can be achieved with a comfortable 10kph forward speed, and the PWP900 costs £10,800 (ex VAT) or £95.95 per week on a contract hire basis.
