GrowHow aims for know how

KEMIRA GROWHOW is launching a new advice service at Cereals 2004 aimed at helping growers manage cross-compliance.

The GrowHow Advice service steps up the level of technical service the company provides, said Kemira.

“GrowHow Advice has been developed to provide the technical know-how to allow farmers to use fertilisers at optimum levels and so maximise their return on investment and prevent nutrient loss,” said Kemira GrowHow advice manager Clive Deeley.

It is time to rethink the traditional rule of thumb approach to choosing fertiliser rates, he added.

“Food assurance and environmental legislation like NVZs, and now cross compliance are putting fertiliser use under the spotlight.”

The GrowHow Advice team will offer a choice of two arable service levels both built around the company‘s exclusive crop nutrition software EnCompass.
