Case IH Axial-Flow 160 combines get second in-cab touchscreen
Machine and harvesting data can now be shown across two displays © Case IH Operators of Axial-Flow 160-series combines will no longer have to switch between machine and agronomic information pages on their in-cab display when they get behind the wheel of a 2027 model-year version.
Case IH is now installing a second Pro 1200 display as part of a package of digital tech, cab interior and grain-handling upgrades for the 400hp 6160 and 460hp 7160.

The upgraded on- and off-board technology suite enables enhanced automation, connectivity and precision farming capabilities, says Case IH, and builds on the 2024 introduction of the Harvest Command automated settings technology.
The upgrade supports faster data processing, improved diagnostics and “seamless” integration with digital tools, while enabling remote support capabilities that help reduce service trips and minimise downtime.

Easier viewing
Having two Pro 1200 displays means operators can keep an eye on machine and harvesting data at the same time, and viewing the displays remotely is now possible, with advanced diagnostics said to help identify service issues earlier.
Other new features available to the 6160 and 7160 include the Vector Pro receiver for enhanced guidance accuracy, AccuTurn for automated headland manoeuvres and AccuSync for live data sharing between multiple machines.
These features are available in different optional packages and connectivity is provided free – no subscription fees or renewals – for the lifetime of the modem.
Outside the cab, the latest-spec Axial-Flows are available with a new concave configuration for high-moisture crops, two-speed feeder drive to suit varying harvest conditions, and the ability to empty the unloading auger to avoid spilling grain when folding it back in.
