Highland 2010: Self-propelled post knocker from Bryce
Is this the ultimate post knocker?
The latest version from Bryce is linked by a three-point linkage to a converted Mitsubishi LD400 tracked dumper.
A seat on the post knocker provides a work station from which a joystick controls the dumper and a separate set of controls is used to operate the post knocker.
Bryce says the “self-propelled” post knocker with its 500kg weight, has the potential to place up to 230 posts an hour, given the right soil conditions. Price of the Mitsubishi dumper is put at £35,000 and the post knocker at £10,000.
