Making its debut at the show was Abbey Machinery’s Shallow Injector. Available in widths of 4 to 6m, it’s fitted with 405mm diameter hardened discs and can either be used as part of an umbilical system or behind the tanker. Discs maintain a preset ground pressure, while the self levelling boom adjusts using the four point linkage. The macerator also includes auto reverse and sequencing valves, and the 50mm clear piping ensures rapid throughput, says the Irish company. Prices start from £19,000.
