Pro versions of the Claas Variant variable chamber round baler have features designed to deliver greater output and improved efficiency.

They have a 2.1m wide pick-up, four high-speed, high-tensile bale-forming belts, variable bale core density, and a hydraulic bale density pressure control system.

A 14-knife chopper is optional in place of the plain feed-in rotor, with a retractable floor panel helping to clear any plugs of grass easily and quickly – something that encourages operators to push the machine to maximum capacity, suggests Claas.

There are two sizes producing bales up to 1.55m and 1.75m, respectively.
