JF-Stoll says it is now fitting a cutterbar with a smooth underside on its new generation of SB light, rear-mounted mowers.

This is done by using guide shoes that cover the whole width and give maximum protection of the underside of the cutter bar.

This, it says, protects the plant crown to ensure quick regrowth. It also means that a low cutting angle can be used to get a low and even stubble. The SB mowers will be available in working widths of 2m, 2.4 m and 2.8m.
