Kuhn ups ground clearance on tedder range
Kuhn has upgraded the chassis and suspension system on its Gyrotedder range.
The new framework and rotor lifting mechanism on the 13m and 17.2m-wide tedders has improved ground clearance on headland turns and contour following over rougher terrain.
The new GF 13012 and GF 17012 allow operators to ted up to 15ha/hour and will require tractor pto outputs of 80hp and 100hp respectively.

To improve stability and headland clearance, and reduce mechanical stress, self-reeling straps support the two outer sections to allow all the rotors to be lifted in one motion.
Kuhn has also come up with a system that enables the rotor train to move independently across uneven ground to avoid soil contamination and wearing of the tines.
Rotor height and individual pitch angle can both be adjusted at ease and quickly without the need for tools, too.
Prices of the GF 13012 start at £34,950, while the bigger GF 17012 kicks off at £42,600.
