Slotting in between the existing Magnum and Puma ranges and making its debut on the Case-IH stand was the larger of the new two-model CVX range, the flagship Puma CVX 225.
Fitted with second-generation CVT transmission, the rated 224hp tractor boosts to 251hp and the smaller CVX 210, which is rated at 213hp, boosts to 224hp. Both models can hit 50kph at 1550rpm, and have an additional fuel saver mode.
Carrying over many of the features from the 140 to 195hp Puma models, the CVX models also get a new multicontroller armrest with colour display, as well as an increase in rear lift capacity from 8650kg to 10,463kg.
First deliveries to dealers are expected in the next couple of months, and Case-IH says that there could be some on farm come June. Two smaller models are expected at SIMA in February. Prices for the CVX 225 start at about £112,145.
