Lamma 2026: Perry QuickClip metal fencing gets 40-year guarantee
© James Andrews Buyers in the market for galvanised metal fencing have a new brand – Perry – to add to their shopping list.
The Cradley Heath firm’s QuickClip system uses tough Y-shaped intermediate posts, which are made out of high-tensile steel with extra reinforcing at the base.

These can be driven in using a conventional post knocker and have slots to accept most popular brands of stock netting.
There’s also space to fit ground wire, as well as two strands of barbed.
Rather than having riveted wire holders, Perry has opted for simple stainless-steel clips that slot into any of the openings without needing to use any tools.
Other features include pre-drilled holes for electric wire insulators and a plate to prevent them from pulling out of the ground.
As for strainers, these have a tubular construction, with struts that simply hook into place.
Where these meet the ground, there’s a wide base plate with a large pin to hold them securely in position.
Intermediate posts are priced at about £9 each, with complete strainer kits costing roughly £100 apiece.
