Alpego – Opico (Hall 6, 440)
A fresh take on grass ley establishment will be a focus for Opico, having equipped the Alpego Inversa stone burier/cultivator with a Stocks seeder for one-pass sowing into an optimum fine tilth.
The reverse-rotation bladed rotor kicks up all in its path, spring-loaded sorting tines send stones to working depth, and the soil falls back on top, leaving a clean surface ready to receive the seed.
Aodes – Boss ORV (Hall 6, 830)
As a machine said to be representative of the features, quality and competitive pricing of the Aodes range of UTVs, the WorkCross 1000-3 in top spec guise will be shown with  a multi-function touchscreen display, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning to help keep the driver and up to two passengers comfortable.
This model has a 1-litre, 75hp V-Twin petrol engine, selectable two- and four-wheel drive, and rides on adjustable suspension and shock absorbers for the colour-contrast beadlock wheels.
Avon Tuning HD (Hall 7, 600)
A new Genius ECU re-mapping device reduces the number of tools needed by agents to change engine performance characteristics of tractors and other powered agricultural machines, and they will no longer need a computer or laptop for the ECU reading or writing processes.
It features a slicker user interface and improved connectivity when on farm thanks to a remote VPN connection, giving Avon technical support access to the device, while upgraded software and firmware should make processing quicker and easier and perform tuning that previously required separate devices.
Bauer (Hall 7, 730)
The Rainstar A4 series clean water reel irrigator will feature at Bauer, this newcomer catering for use in smaller fields using a sprinkler covering 70m wide strips up to 250m long fed by Bauer-manufactured PE hose with a maximum diameter of 75mm.
It sports a two-wheel chassis with adjustable track width and a swivelling hose reel retracted by a turbine/four-speed gearbox combination and ventilated brake.
Can-Am (Hall 12, 470)
The Outlander Electric makes its debut, this first major manufacturer-produced and T-homologated quad having a Rotax E-Power pack developing 47hp and 72Nm of instantly available torque, and providing up to 80km of range in optimal conditions.
There are three drive modes (normal, sport, work) for different speed and power delivery characteristics, 50-minute Level 2 charging from 20% to 80%, and familiar Outlander traits, such as 830kg of towing capacity, front and rear load racks, and more than 120 accessories.
Case IH (Hall 17, 400)
A lot of power, stronger brakes, 750-hour service intervals, and a heavy-duty front axle with independent suspension are among features of new 360hp, 390hp and 435hp Case IH Optum CVXDrive tractors.
All sit on a 3,190mm wheelbase – longer than on lesser Optums as well as Magnums – with uprated specs for the front and rear axles, including provision for a built-in tyre inflation management system.
CFMoto (Hall 6, 930)
The spotlight will fall on CFMoto’s U10 Pro Highland farm buggy, the upgraded version of its non-Highland predecessor, now equipped with a factory-fitted heater and sound-deadening package as standard, along with a full cab and 8in RideSync touchscreen.
The energetic 998cc petrol engine packs a 90hp punch through its CVT drive, carrying a driver and up to two passengers while handling up to 450kg in its tipping rear box, or towing an 800kg load.
Claydon (Hall 6, 600)
Benefits of the Opti-Till Evolution M mounted toolbar direct drill combination will be highlighted – not least the distributed weight on the tractor from mounting the 2,000-litre seed-only or 2,750-litre partitioned hopper up front.
There are six coulter toolbar sizes from 3m to 6m, with a second distribution head available for placing fertiliser from the seeding tines positioned behind the narrow soil-loosening legs – or from both.
Cousins of Emneth (Hall 12, 252)
A 4.2m example of Cousins’ Patriot trailed tine and disc cultivator is highlighted as an implement gaining interest, in part for working widths that go to 5.4m and 6.6m, and also for its versatility.
Staggered low disturbance loosening tines at 60cm centres are followed by two rows of discs and a Razor Ring packer to work the soil profile at depths from 15cm to 40cm – but the discs can be lifted out of work for deep soil loosening only.
Corvus (Hall 12, 328)
A new small-chassis UTV will be unveiled by Corvus, the Spanish – and only European – manufacturer of side-by-side buggies.
The Terrain DX4s sports an 800cc Yanmar diesel engine, selectable two- and four-wheel drive, and a rear axle diff lock.
There is individual seating for two and a tipping steel cargo box rated at 250kg, and its shrunken dimensions compared with its larger Terrain TX4 sibling make it a handier, more manoeuvrable vehicle where yard space is tight.
Danagri-3S (Hall 9, 612)
The Jema modular grain store intake pit, an alternative to the ground-level and hopper intake solutions from Danagri-3S, is a 3m- or 4m-wide galvanised steel plate structure of any length from 3m.
Being suspended in a vertical walled concrete pit eliminates any risk of water accumulating. There are three depths for different capacities, and a chain or belt conveyor and an elevator take grain into store.

Falc – KRM (Hall 18, 470)
The Sprinter 8500P triple flail mower combination for multi-purpose vegetation and crop residue management comprises a 2.8m unit mounted up front with a pair of 3m units on a folding frame at the back.
Best suited to 200-400hp tractors, the Falc machine’s 1.6kg heavy-duty hammer flails spin at more than 2,250rpm to make a decisive cut against heavy scrub and woody stems up to 75mm diameter.
Fendt (Hall 9, 420)
Four new or revamped ranges will be promoted, including the 7.1 generation 700 Vario models represented by a 223hp 722 Vario, which like its siblings now has a bonus of up to 10hp from its Agco Power Core75 engine when Dynamic Performance boost kicks in.
The new peak of up to 243hp is reached in stages when fans, air conditioning, lights, etc, are in use, and when the tractor is running its pro, or on fast draft work, transport, or demanding hydraulic applications.
Guttler – Wox Agri Services (Hall 9, 630)
The Wox stand will highlight Guttler’s grassland grooming equipment, particularly the newly available 6.2m Greenmaster 600 Compact, billed as a more versatile and manoeuvrable alternative to the trailed version.
This combines the firm’s Quattro Ripper Board scraper, two rows of 12mm harrow tines, a trio of 33/38cm diameter Prisma cast rollers – arranged one behind two for complete coverage – and a seeding system with 410- or 660-litre hopper and full in-cab control and monitoring from the new Seed Profi High unit.
Honda (Hall 10, 140)
Precision and positive control across all manner of conditions, from easy flat riding to rough rutted tracks, and reassuringly strong engine braking down steep gradients will be emphasised by the manual gearbox in Honda’s Foreman TRX520 quad.
This model features selectable two- and four-wheel drive, and a 518cc engine coupled to a five-speed (single reverse) gearbox, with electric shifting and more compliant independent rear suspension optional.
JCB (Hall 17, 740)
Centre-stage will be JCB’s new 284hp and 335hp Fastracs, sporting the trademark four-wheel steering, axle suspension front and rear, an implement mounting area behind the two-seat cab, and high-speed gearing up to 66kph.
New for these more powerful versions is a fully-integrated tyre pressure management system, set up and operated through the iCon touchscreen display, which itself is even more flexible in the way operators can choose page content and layout.
Kidd (Hall 8, 900)
Representing Kidd’s range of bale processors, the 8.8cu m 875TC on show combines the chopping and shredding power of the smaller 4.8cu m 475TC with the bale capacity of the 8.5cu m 850 model; it can carry two “Hesston” bales with the optional loading ramp extension fitted.
In addition to providing quick and easy straw bedding preparation and spreading, Twin Chop (TC) models can also chop material to a length suitable for mixing into TMR feed mixes using a set of retractable knives.
Knight (Hall 6, 620)
SmartRinse is a new fully-automated flushing system to be unveiled alongside either a 6,000-litre KT trailed unit or a KSP self-propelled from Knight’s latest portfolio.
The host sprayer will have a 36m boom, the Knight individual nozzle switching system and a Lacos touchscreen terminal for setting up and controlling all systems.
Krone (Hall 19, 530)
A bigger capacity central gearbox allowing power inputs beyond 500hp features in the latest Big Pack HDP II baler, which together with a 600kg flywheel contributes a 15% increased plunger packing force, bale densities up to 235kg/cu m, and throughputs reaching 85t/hour.
Increased start-up torque and a faster max speed enable the hydraulic starter aid to get the flywheel turning more effectively before the tractor pto kicks in, and supports the higher bale density capability.
Kuhn (Hall 18, 300)
The Karan new generation trailed sprayer takes a prominent place at Kuhn; it is available in four sizes from 4,500- to 8,000-litres with booms from 18m to 45m on 25cm or 50cm spacing of either regular or PWM nozzles, with I-Spray spot application technology also optional.
Four ultrasonic sensors constantly monitor and adjust boom height relative to spray targets, fast filling at up to 900-litre/min minimises standing time, while a removable sump and tank top makes it easier to get at internal components and an integrated winch helps remove the pump in around 15 minutes.

Kverneland (Hall 12, 430)
A solid plough leg design sandwiched between two steel plates features on new B-series mounted ploughs being launched at Lamma, along with a higher shear limit of some 5,000kg versus 4,500kg previously thanks to the Sharp Shear System leg protection mechanism.
Available in three- to five-furrow sizes and in-furrow only, and on-land or in-furrow formats for tractors of 250-380hp, the ploughs have Variomat hydraulic furrow width adjustment, four-way skimmer adjustment, a revamped transport wheel design and, on selected models, isobus control.
Massey Ferguson (Hall 12, 560)
Seamless speeding up and slowing down, together with infinitely variable speed adjustment, has come to the 105-145hp MF 5S tractor range in the shape of a single-range Dyna-VT transmission with two virtual speed ranges available – for yard and field use, for example.
The new installation complements MF’s long-established Dyna-4 and Dyna-6 semi-powershift transmissions, and serves up a progressive transition from max hydrostatic to max mechanical power delivery from a smidge over zero to 40kph at 1,550rpm.
McCormick (Hall 7, 950)
A latest-spec six-cylinder X7 tractor will be the centre-piece of McCormick’s stand, featuring the so-called Clever Cab with stretched dimensions, 14% more interior volume, and a larger glass area than its predecessor.
Two 12in data screens provide vehicle instruments, system settings adjustment, guidance and precise farming apps, optional isobus implement control, and, if specified, guidance and other digital features.
McHale (Hall 10, 310)
A weigh cell-based bale shape indicator is new on second-generation V6 (1.6m diameter) and V8 (1.8m) round balers, along with Active Density Control, which automatically varies density pressure at pre-determined stages in the bale formation process.
Isobus and Tractor Implement Management-ready are standard and, when activated, the latter enables the baler to operate certain tractor functions; isobus additive applicator control includes a pto speed sensor and run-time count to minimise wastage.
Merlo (Hall 6, 630)
Two of Merlo’s most popular compact telehandlers will be on show, the TF27.6 and TF30.7 being equipped with low-height cabs, a tight turning circle and claimed good all-round visibility to suit work in and around the confines of farm buildings, older ones especially.
The 75hp 6m TF27.6 lifts 2.7t from the ground and 1.8t to full height, and comes in three spec levels to suit budgets and preferences; the TF30.7 has 101hp and takes 3t off the deck, 2t to the 6.7m lift height.
Moore – Agri-Linc (Hall 19, 100)
Much of Agri-Linc’s focus will be on the Moore Unidrill, produced in grassland and arable versions, and as a toolbar-only unit for use with a front-mounted hopper, or complete with a seed-only or seed and fertiliser tank.
Notched 400mm discs, each with a tungsten seed coulter alongside, are mounted in pairs via a rubber-insert damped clamp, with hydraulic pressure up to 120kg enabling penetration into firm, uncultivated soils.
New Holland (Hall 17, 400)
More efficient headland turns from a new axle and front-end structure, reducing turning circle by smidge under 3m, are features of latest standard wheelbase T7 tractors, which also have increased total permissible weight of 13.5t and, consequently, a greater payload of 5.5t.
A new three-range (single reverse) Auto Command stepless transmission can run to 55kph and max power outputs of 180-225hp are generated with fewer revs – 1,500rpm – for economy, and together with larger fuel and DEF tanks, should result in longer runs between fill-ups.
Padagas – Spaldings (Hall 20, 540)
Keeping farmyards and other places of agricultural activity clean and tidy is the aim of the Padagas range of sweepers from Spaldings, the Shark model being especially versatile with mountings for tractor three-point linkage, loaders or pallet fork tines.
Available in 2.5m and 2.9m versions, the floating head follows surface contours, while 25deg manual or hydraulic angling of the 915mm diameter twin-motor power brush brings debris away from walls, kerbs and so on.

Polaris (Hall 17, 670)
A new farm buggy is set to be unveiled that enters the Ranger line-up below the current two-seat 570, with sufficient toughness and a lower price making it easier for farmers to swap from a quad bike.
Powered by a 567cc 28hp petrol engine, the Ranger 500 sits on a 186cm wheelbase, has all-wheel drive, weighs 549kg and has a tipping cargo box rated at 227kg capacity.

© Pottinger
Pottinger (Hall 6, 310)
Making its Lamma debut is Pottinger’s Liquido F three-in-one silage additive system, front-end ballast and “tractor bumper” device, its primary role being to supply pick-up nozzles on a baler or forage wagon from a 200- or 400-litre tank accompanied by flushing and hand-washing water.
Water in the main tank provides easily adjustable ballast for tractor draft work such as heavy cultivating, while the mounting frame fashioned as a width-adjustable bumper carries extremity marker rods and LED driving and work lights.
Richard Western (Hall 6, 230)
Fine shredding of material and even distribution, durable build and easier maintenance are among attractions of Richard Western’s D Series vertical beater muckspreaders that joined the Delilah family last year.
They feature 800mm diameter boron steel rotors within a 1,500mm wide pillarless body, the boron tipped vanes tearing at material as it is shifted rearwards by a full-width conveyor comprising 16mm floor chains driven by six-tooth bolt-together sprockets on a 65mm shaft.
S&K Sprayer Services (Hall 9, 750)
Tailored packages for fertiliser placement using the NitroBar system are available for tillage machinery, seed drills and large grain and potato planters, with a precision controller, DGPS positioning and auto on/off included.
Mounting stainless-steel tanks on the tractor – usually up-front – is the most common solution, whether for a single fluid or two, with enhanced crop yield, reduced fertiliser usage and cost-savings from in-row placement the key attractions.

Shelbourne Reynolds (Hall 9, 440)
The established SR 400 Series reach mower becomes the 4000 Series with a new heavy-duty four-point linkage stabiliser bracket based on that for larger models, re-routed hydraulic hoses and refreshed styling.
Also new is an electronic control system with adjustable proportional response and proportional head angling in addition to arm movements to make the machine easier to use with greater accuracy.

© Spread a Bale
Spread-a-Bale (Hall 20, 490)
A significant “first” is the company’s Combi-Bale capable of dispensing forage as well as distributing bedding straw thanks to a new head available for most Spread-a-Bale bodies in sideways-mounted guise.
It houses a single horizontal rotor fitted with sharp-edged tines; rotated anti-clockwise, they tease and chop hay and silage, which is channelled into a trough or alongside a feed fence, or rotated clockwise with the hood re-configured to throw bedding straw up to 15m.
Suzuki (Hall 7, 436)
As Suzuki’s best-selling ATV, the KingQuad 500XP will be highlighted, this 493cc machine balancing practical performance and easy riding characteristics within a handily compact package.
Automatic CVT propulsion and full-time four-wheel drive contribute, along with oil-dampened independent double-wishbone suspension front and rear, and a chassis revamp that has increased towing capacity to 600kg and improved handling and ride composure.
Taylor Attachments (Hall 11, 410)
In addition to the Hooklifter and Eurolifter loader frames for shifting linkage-mounted implements about the yard, Taylor Attachments reckons the loader-mounted Three Point Linkage Headstock is among its handiest products.
The frame, top link and two adjustable lower links enable an otherwise tractor three-point lift-mounted implement to be used on a loader – for example, a post-knocker, snowplough or buckrake; there are 5t and 8t versions.
Tramspread (Hall 12, 350)
A new-design 24m dribble bar makes its debut, the vertically folding booms with break-back end sections leaving clear access to a pick-up hitch for towing an engine-driven pump trailer.
Variable left/right geometry allows for undulating ground, electro-hydraulic controls draw on the power beyond facility of a 150hp or thereabouts tractor, and Tramspread’s signature swinging arm permits in-field U-turns.
Vaderstad (Hall 20, 220)
Principle upgrades to the Spirit trailed cultivating seed drill include the TriForce II seed arm suspension system providing coulter pressure now up to 120kg rather than 80kg, resulting in precision seed depth control at each coulter for regular emergence and early growth.
Optional in-cab seed depth adjustment and dynamic tramlining are also available for the Spirit, which deploys a row of paddle tines, two rows of discs and a staggered row of rubber tyre packer wheels to complete seed-bed preparation ahead of twin-disc openers, a seed boot, press wheels and an improved covering harrow.
