Massive slump in tractor sales reflects struggling market
The Agricultural Engineers Association has revealed its latest tractor sales figures and they make worrying reading for manufacturers.
Registrations of machines over 50hp totalled just 845 units in May, which was a 32.7% drop against the same month last year.
However, sales in April were almost the same as 2014, which has cushioned the blow of May’s sluggish market.

The five-month total stands at 4,766 units, which works out as a year-on-year decline of 17.8%.
