McCormick launches 92hp T100-max tractor

McCormick has launched a £36,070, 92hp tractor that aims to bridge the gap between the lower-spec McCormick C-Max and the more generously kitted CX Xtrashift, as well as offering an alternative to the CX Synchro low-profile package.

The T100-Max has a Perkins 1104D-44TA engine and a 36×12 gearbox with a three-step powershift. In contrast to the C-Max’s dry-clutch transmission, synchro shuttle and mechanical pto/four-wheel-drive engagement, the newcomer has a wet clutch, three powershift steps, a power shuttle and hydraulic engagement of the front drive and pto. A low-profile four-post cab is said to give good access to buildings and all-round visibility

McCormick is also offering a limited-period T100-Max + McCormick IF20 loader package for £42,072.

McCormick product specialist Paul Wade says: “With its low overall height and easy manoeuvrability, the T100-Max makes an attractive stockman’s tractor for operators who want more than the most basic specification. But it will also appeal to growers in the arable and horticulture sectors wanting a no-nonsense machine with a more versatile transmission.”

McCormick has also added the 47hp CT55U to its 57hp four-cylinder model. It has an air-conditioned cab with roof window, plus 16+16 shuttle and three-speed pto. A four-cylinder Mitsubishi engine provides the power. The price is £22,665.
