SIMA provided a first outing for New Holland‘s mid-range CX5000 and CX6000 five- and six-walker combines.

The range-topping CX6090 is powered by an FPT Cursor 9 Powerplant developing 333hp, whereas the remaining three models – the 5080, 5090 and 6080 – will get a 6.7-litre Nef engine and will put out 258 and 300hp. Both engines will be equipped with SCR.

Maximum grain tank capacity will be 9300-litres and max header width will be 7.3m (24ft) in the 6090. Suitable for 200-600ha farms, says NH, all models will get a new cab complete with redesigned armrest with CommandGrip and IntelliView screen. Features from the larger CX8000 and CX9000 ranges like Opti-Fan and SmartSieve will compliment NH’s four-drum threshing system.
