New Holland revamps short wheelbase TM series tractors

New Holland is set to introduce three new models to replace its remaining short-wheelbase TM tractors.
The last of the blue brand’s line-up to be revamped, the 125hp T6050, 140hp T6070 and 155hp T6080 feature the firm’s Horizon 4-post cab and Tier 3 common-rail engines.
Following a chequered history for the TM range, New Holland says it has concentrated its efforts on thoroughly testing the new T6000 models.
Transmission options are fairly similar to larger T7000 cousins – 19F x 6R Range Command and Power Command powershift units available in 40kph and 50kph formats.
New common-rail powerplants provide a power boost when required and have a 600-hour service interval – claimed to be the longest in the industry.
A host of in-cab computer gadgets handle everything from spool-valve controls to linkage lift.
We’ll have more details from the official launch at Agritechnica next week.
