Another Danish firm showing off a new product at Agromek was Parkland with its five-bale accumulator. It is claimed to be the first on the market to handle five 120cm wide bales.

A toothed wheel on the top of the accumulator gauges how far the bale has travelled from the back of the baler. Once the bale has passed the wheel the table tilts, causing a hydraulic arm to push each bale alternately left and right. When all the bays are full the bales are offloaded. The accumulator requires a 30-litres/min oil flow through one single-acting and one double-acting spool valve.

Dual wheels are standard and scales can be selected from the options list. Price is about £25,000 for the five-bale version. A smaller three-bale model is also available.
