The high-spec S Line range of grass rakes developed by Pottinger for larger farms and contractors is extended to three models with the 852C covering an adjustable working width of 7.75m to 8.55m.

Priced £28,390, it joins the larger 972C and four-rotor 1252C.

A new chassis with higher clearance for better swath formation allows the rake to be towed at 50kph and, like other S Line machines, there is a quick detach rotor arm mechanism and hydraulic folding guards so the machine can be prepared more quickly for moves from one field to the next.

The 852C also has Pottinger’s Multitast leading wheel rotor undercarriage designed to prevent the tines touching the ground, together with an extra tine arm per rotor to allow faster working speeds.
