THE NEW Standard Power space heater range from Bradford-based Thorite features five propane gas-fired models.

The heaters can supply from 35,000BTUs (British thermal units) to 344,000BTUs per hour and will burn between 1kg of gas and 4.5kg of gas per hour.

BTU requirements are calculated by the shed volume – length x width x height – divided by four to give the required BTU delivery for sufficient heating.
