Northern Irish manufacturer Quad-X has revealed a new commercial-spec mini dump trailer designed to be pulled by an ATV or small tractor.

A hydraulically powered tipping mechanism is part of the package, as is a suspension system that the company hopes will improve stability over uneven ground. Knobbly flotation tyres should make life easier in the wet, too.

The new-look trailers are a scaled-down version of traditional Herbst or Marshall-made haulers and offer capacities of 750-1,000 litres.

Elsewhere, a swivel hitch is standard and the automatic rear door opens when tipping, while an auto lock mechanism makes sure the user isn’t in the way when unloading.

The asking price is £1,910.
