Rabe reveals its drill range addition

German cultivation kit manufacturer Rabe unveiled the latest addition to its drill range at Agritechnica.


The Aquila uses two rows of notched discs to perform primary cultivation, followed by a bank of consolidating wheels.


Behind this, two rows of disc coulters perform the seeding operation. Final consolidation is provided by individually sprung wheels.


The Aquila range is made up of four models – 3m, 4m, 4.5m and 6m – the latter three folding to 3m for transport.


Production of the drills is set to get under way next month making the drills available for the 2006 season – prices are yet to be set.
