Razorback to import GreenTec hedgecutters and saws

Vegetation management machinery specialist Razorback is supplementing its own reach and rotary mower ranges by importing complementary products from GreenTec of Denmark.

GreenTec manufactures hedge and verge cutters, and four-blade limb saws for mounting on reach arms, tractor loaders and telescopic handlers.

The Scorpion 430 Plus reach mower is a compact unit for tractor front- or rear-mounting and is reckoned to be handy for very narrow lanes and pathways, thanks to neat arm geometry that allows it to work close to the side of the host vehicle.

With a horizontal reach of 4.3m, the arm can be operated with or without parallel motion, and with Rotor Flex the flail head can be positioned just ahead of the operator for a more comfortable view.

GreenTec’s Scorpion 630S is a larger machine with 6.3m reach, four-point mounting and the same parallel/non-parallel function and Rotor Flex option.

There is also a three-model choice of Puma Multi Carrier, a mounting device to fit reciprocating cutters or rotary blades to a loader; it consists of a horizontal telescopic arm providing adjustable lateral reach.

The Quadsaw LRS 2002 is GreenTec’s take on a rotary blade cutter or limb saw.

It has hydraulic drive to a power band that runs the four blades, each sporting carbide-tipped teeth, that cover the 2m working width.
