Slurry application controller gets new GPS guidance

NutriTech, Jackson Pumping Systems and RDS have introduced an updated version of the Delta slurry application rate monitoring System.
Based on an RDS Delta 34i job computer coupled to an RDS 12-channel GPS receiver unit and a Siemens MAG5000 flow sensor, it is specifically designed for slurry/sludge application.
As well as allowing the operator to monitor forward speed, application rate, flow rate, volume of liquid left in tank, area covered and volume of liquid applied, the unit now takes its forward speed from the GPS receiver.
There is also a job-logging system which allows the system to automatically record the location co-ordinates and application rate every two seconds. Information can then be transferred to a standard SD card and used to produce application summaries.
