Sprayer demos to reduce spray drift

Reducing spray drift will be a key feature on Agrovista’s stand at Cereals 2008.

Silsoe’s spray application unit will be building a demonstration cabinet on the Agrovista stand to show how using Companion Gold as an additive – e.g. with glyphosate – using LERAP nozzles, will reduce drift and thereby improve the environmental profile of spray applications.

Companion Gold is a polymer which makes spray droplets more uniform thus reducing drift.

The firm will also be running a competition to give away an Eco-Rider all-terrain vehicle. This will be painted up in Agrovista livery with a Cereals 2008 logo on it.
