Rear conveyors get AgriSpread AS3000 throwing fertiliser 54m

A working width of up to 54m is possible with AgriSpread’s latest bulk material applicator, thanks to the addition of two disc-feeding fold-down conveyors.

Positioning the spinners 6.1m apart on these outstretched arms allows good-quality bagged fertiliser to be flung the furthest, with lime travelling up to 30m and Fibrophos to 24m – both double the limit of the standard twin-disc setup.

There’s also been a notable uptick in performance, with the new 3000-series models sporting a high-output, pto-powered hydrostatic pump capable of keeping up with lime applications of 5t/ha at 12-15kph on 24m bouts.

Features include half-width section control, load cells and isobus control.

The latter brings a neat purge facility that loads the conveyors with product prior to spreading commencing.

And, once finished, there’s an “empty” button that stops the main hopper conveyor while the cross conveyors feed any remaining material to the discs.

The pictured AS3150 will hold 20t of lime in its stainless-steel hopper and is priced at £155,000.
