Bunning muckspreaders get slicker Topcon iD1 display

Topcon’s iD1 has been chosen by GT Bunning as the entry-level isobus display for its manure spreaders, replacing the ISOcan unit produced by Topcon subsidiary RDS Technology.

The 7in iD1 features clearer graphics and faster processing speeds thanks to its Horizon ISO operating software.

It also provides variable rate application control based on digital prescription maps, and as-applied maps once spreading jobs have been completed.

Having its own satellite guidance receiver means the display can be operated without tractor guidance, and it is compatible with other isobus-equipped implements.

The display, priced at £1,800, is available for Bunning’s isobus weigh cell system, which on an Mk4 spreader costs £11,623, including a sprung drawbar.

Alternatively, buyers can opt for the larger 12in Topcon XD+ to operate Bunning’s 6-40t horizontal beater and disc, and vertical beater machines.
