Tramspread releases new remote control for slurry pumps

Tramspread’s new remote control for engine-driven slurry pumps allows users to keep tabs on multiple units from their smartphone or tablet.

The Teletram 2020 operates on 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G mobile data plans, rather than relying on a radio connection that could be interrupted by others in the area using the same frequency.

The remote has sensors for inlet and outlet pressure and can also be used to view slurry levels in the pit or store.

Users have the option to start, stop, vary throttle speed and divert the system from mixing to field pumping, and can keep tabs on the pressure and fluid levels of the engine, too.

Communication is unaffected by distance and means an operator using several pumps over a long run will only need one device to monitor all the units.
