Unia trailed sprayer offers output on a budget

Unia unveiled its high-output trailed sprayer at Agritechnica 2019, hoping it might appeal to those shopping on a modest budget.
The Heron is the Polish brand’s biggest sprayer to date and comes with a 5,000-litre tank and 500 litres of clean water.

Standard spec includes a 400-litre/min piston-diaphragm pump, steel booms that range from 18m to 30m and Arag nozzle bodies. There is also a sprung drawbar and a rear-steering ADR axle.
Buyers get a Muller in-cab terminal for rate control and options include individually controlled nozzles and blue LEDs for night spraying.
The sprayer will be imported by North Yorkshire dealer Manterra, with base prices starting at just €50,000 (£43,000).
