The Revolution ball-shaped extension lead from designer Oliver Blackwell is aimed at the DIY market, but could be of interest to farmers.

The front handle secures the plug in place, allowing the user to pull it around without the plug coming out. Being spherical, it twists and turns and never falls over and the lead is said to stay tangle-free. An extendable handle makes winding-in easy. It will be available in June in bigger retail outlets.
