Techneat targets farm kit with portable AdBlue tanks
Techneat Engineering has launched a range of portable 12V pumps and tanks for diesel and AdBlue, providing storage that could help farmers reduce costs by buying in bulk.
A range of 440-litre and 220-litre units are on offer, all with self-priming, fast-flow pumps.

The tanks are made from high-grade polyethylene and the fitting are stainless steel.
All tanks include 5m of delivery hose, which can be neatly stowed in the integrated storage units.
Delivery hoses on the 440-litre tank are fitted with an auto cut-off nozzle to minimise spillages.
An electronic flow-meter can also be fitted for precision metering of either AdBlue or diesel and all units are fitted with an in-line filter.
The larger tanks have integrated pallet tine slots and the 220-litre tanks have ergonomic handles incorporated into the moulding, says the company. Tanks can be fitted into a trailer or the loadbay of a pickup truck.
AdBlue solution, used to reduce noxious NO2 emissions from diesel engines, typically costs less than 50p/litre when bought in bulk, says the company, compared to about £2/litre when purchased in 10-litre cans.
The cost of a Techneat Tank could be recouped with cost savings from less than 350 litres of AdBlue, it adds.
Prices start from £399 for diesel and £499 for AdBlue models.
