Bobcat’s TL25.60e electric telehandler to rival JCB
Bobcat is the latest telehandler maker to add a compact electric model to its fleet.
The TL25.60e is still officially a concept and has yet to enter full production but, when it does, it will lock horns with JCB’s Loadall 525-60E.
The two share identical lift capacities of 2.5t and maximum lift heights of 6m.

Those stats – along with exterior dimensions of 1.83m wide and sub-2m tall – are also the same as the diesel Agri version of the TL, which is powered by a 2.39-litre, 75hp Bobcat engine.
The “e” model instead has a 39kW drive motor that propels a hydrostatic transmission to give a top speed of 25kph, bettering that of the JCB by 10kph.
The battery is also marginally bigger at 30kWh, and it comes with the same full-size cab as the firm’s big R-series models.
