Lamma 2026: Kubota brings big SVL 75-3 skid-steer to the UK
© James Andrews National plans to increase solar capacity was a major motivator behind Kubota’s decision to bring its SVL 75-3 skid-steer handler to the UK.
Its 1.7m width allows contractors to slink between panels with various fore-end attachments, including grading buckets and mulchers.

Plus, the tracked undercarriage will help maintain stability in challenging conditions, spread its 4.3t weight and, with 300mm ground clearance, avoid bellying out on most ruts.
According to Kubota, one of the SVL’s stand-out attractions is the up-and-over front windscreen that provides easy cab access and the option of leaving it open during work, unlike a hinged door.
As for spec, the SVL runs a 75hp Kubota engine – the same as is fitted in M5 tractors – and 113 litre/min hydraulics fed through separate drivetrain and loader circuits.
Tipping load is rated to 3.2t, lift height to the hinge is 3.1m, and the list price is £75,500, including a bucket and pallet forks.
A rear-view camera, air-conditioning and a pin code immobiliser are also included in the package.
