Tractorbumper increases safety, weight and storage with style

The latest addition to UK importer Lynx Engineering’s growing product portfolio comes from The Netherlands.

Tractorbumper combines enhanced road safety and sleek, clean design with a variety of weight, storage and branding options across four model ranges.

Be seen to put safety first

Being seen quickly and clearly by other road users, especially when you’re travelling along narrow, winding country roads in poor weather conditions or at night, is a potentially life-saving consideration.

Standard tractor lighting does not necessarily indicate the tractor’s full width. Tractorbumper addresses this issue in style.

High-visibility features, standard across the entire Tractorbumper range, including LED contour lighting, flexible LED outside markers, LED turn indicators, width marker poles and reflector chevrons.

The latter combine to highlight the tractor’s true size and width to other road users more quickly and from a greater distance, significantly reducing the risk of collisions with other vehicles.

Should you ever be unfortunate enough to collide with an oncoming car the bumper utilises the crumple zone of the car, preventing the tractor from climbing over the top of it.

The side panels also work to deflect the car away from the tractor.

Style with function

Behind Tractorbumper’s cool, head-turning design and built-in safety features the range is extremely practical and versatile.

Most models feature storage boxes, extra front weight, or both – all within a fully integrated, compact system.

With storage capacities from 50 to 300 litres and weight options from 300 to 2500kg, there’s a model to meet every need.

Installation is quick and easy too. Tractorbumper’s side panels allow the bumper to be optimally adjusted to suit any make and model of tractor.

Make it yours with customised branding

The finishing touch on every Tractorbumper is customised branding. As standard, all model ranges include smart, flowing decals that really bring the bumper to life.

Decals can be applied in colours to match your tractor brand or your company’s own colours. If you wish, you can also have your company logo added to the decals set.

Brand decaling can be applied to bumpers finished in the standard colours of black, AGCO grey or John Deere green. Bumpers in special RAL colours are also available as an option.

A product in demand

Tractorbumper is proving to be very popular as Nick Ewbank, managing director of Lynx Engineering, explains: “Even we’ve been surprised by the level of demand.

“We’re seeing a steady stream of enquiries from farmers, contractors and dealers alike and orders have exceeded expectations,” he said.

“The product just looks so good. It ticks all the boxes for road safety, choice of weights, toolbox capacities and customisation.

“The build-quality is excellent and all metal component parts are blasted, primed and powder coated.”

Unique, patented hinged side panels

Attention-to-detail is evident wherever you look, Nick added. “For example, Tractorbumper’s patented hinged side panels are unique.

“They can be fixed in different positions and are fitted with a shearbolt allowing the side panel to pivot forward should it collide with a hidden obstacle when reversing the tractor.

“Adjusting the side panels can also reduce the tractor’s turning circle and increase protection to the front side and wheels by reducing the space between the wheels and the bumper,” he added.

The Range

Connect

Connect is a simple, stand-alone bumper that can also be attached to a B 600 or 900 weight block or alternatively to a Fendt 870 weight block.

It can be fitted to the weight already mounted on your tractor or you can order the bumper and weight block as a set.

Box 50L & 200L

The Tractorbumper Box range is ideal if integrated lockable storage is the priority. There are two models available. The Box 50L is a bumper with a small 50-litre toolbox.

For those who want more, the Box 200L with 200-litre capacity should be plenty for stowing away essentials such as tools, seed, rope, chain and more besides.

SafetyWeight

SafetyWeight combines the bumper with a fixed front weight and an integrated, lockable 50-litre storage box.

The range offers 300, 400, 500, 600, 800, 1000 or 1100kg total weight including bumper side panels.

Weight blocks are compact, fitting neatly between the front linkage arms whilst not extending too far forward.

XL Box & Plus

Go large on storage or heavier on weight. With XL Box you get an impressive 300 litres of storage space fully integrated with weight blocks of 400kg, 600kg, 800kg, 1000kg or 1100kg and the bumper.

Alternatively, the Plus range offers weights of 1300kg, 1500kg, 1800kg, 2000kg or 2500kg with a 50-litre toolbox and your bumper.
