130 tractors up for grabs in Hawk Plant dispersal

A huge dispersal sale to be held by Euro Auctions is due to take place in Shropshire to sell the assets of Hawk Plant Hire, which went into administration on 14 January this year.

Hawk was one of the UK’s leading plant and agricultural equipment hire companies and possessed a modern fleet of kit, with the tractor stock mainly newish John Deeres – the oldest is 2016-built and most are still under warranty.

The inventory includes more than 2,000 items, including 70 telehandlers (mainly JCB), 80 agricultural dump trailers and water bowsers from 750 litres up to 7,500 litres.

In the construction corner there are 75 excavators in the listings – predominately Komatsu – along with more than 70 Thwaites dumpers and 2017-18 Cat and Komatsu dozers.

Hawk Group is based in Prees, north-west Shropshire, and the sale is taking place over two days. Thursday 14 March will see the agricultural machinery and lightweight equipment lots go under the hammer at the firm’s Prees Green depot in Whitchurch, Shropshire SY13 2BS.

Friday is the day for heavy construction equipment at Sandford Industrial Park in Whitchurch.
