The latest litter of short-wheelbase Case IH Pumas comprises three models sporting a fresh cab interior, revamped front suspension and a smidge more power.
Smallest is the Puma 155 that boosts to 192hp, mid-ranger is the 211hp Puma 165, and at the top comes the 226hp 185.

Software tweaks for the otherwise unchanged 6.7-litre FPT six-cylinder are said to have benefited power and torque delivery, especially lower down the rev range.
There’s now a trio of transmissions to pick from – stepless CVXDrive or one of two ActiveDrive semi-powershifts – and an optional heavy duty front axle ups gross vehicle weight to 13.5t.
This allows for a maximum payload of 5.5t, while the turning circle is 11.4m and the hydraulics are good for 170 litres/min.
