Agritechnica 2025: Lindner Lintrac 160 packs 175hp

Alpine mountains might be the spiritual home of Lindner tractors, but the launch of a higher-horsepower model could start a migration to the lowlands.

The Lintrac 160 is the most powerful the Austrian brand has produced to date, with a 4.5-litre FPT four cylinder putting out a max power of 175hp and 700Nm of torque.

Allied to this is a ZF CVT transmission, heavily customised to be compatible with Lindner’s trademark steering rear axle.

The high-spec theme continues with air cab suspension and a double-wishbone Carraro front axle, similar to that of previous Claas Arions.

Inside the six-post cab – a four-poster will be coming in the next year or so – there’s a bank of armrest mounted controls headed by a 10in touchscreen display running in-house software.

Other features of note include a quartet of rear pto speeds, an optional 1,000rpm front pto and Bosch hydraulics with a 120-litre/min pump.

It’s priced at about £155,000.
