A smaller version of MX’s ePilot joystick has been added to the French company’s portfolio, making it easier to fit around other cab controls and quicker to detach when the loader is not in use.

The ePilot S has all the functions of the larger joystick but is lighter and only 140mm tall – 80mm smaller than the current version. It carries functions for lift and crowd, bucket shake and movement cushioning, as well as three extra services.

When the loader is not in use, the joystick can be removed from its bracket to reduce the controls on display and avoid it getting damaged.

The small joystick comes complete with a palm rest and is compatible with MX F300, A100, A400 and TX 400 loaders. It is priced at £695 above a cable control loader, while the ePilot S+ with a third function roller costs £995.
