Tractor sales continue strong growth

There’s more encouraging news from the Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA), which has released May’s tractor sales figures, claiming a 4.1% increase on the same month last year.

This takes the total number of 50hp+ units sold this year to 5,104, which is a 16.7% rise on the same period in 2016.

However, May’s increase was the smallest felt in any month this year, indicating farmers are showing some caution in the run-up to harvest.
