An umbilical slurry applicator has been introduced by Tramspread.

The linkage-mounted Duo combines a 600m hose reel, dribble-bar and twin splash-plate outlets.

The reel is powered by a hydraulic motor which is said to enable even unrolling and retrieval without hose over-run.

The applicator boom folds hydraulically and when using the dribble-bar’s trailing outlets can cover 5m or 6m. When employing the twin splash-plates, the rig will spread liquid up to 12m.
