Weidemann adds two new models

German manufacturer Weidermann has added two new models to its range of telehandlers and wheeled loaders.
Designed for livestock farmers is the maker’s T4512 CC40 compact handler, an update of the previous model that now includes a vertical lift system (VLS). With VLS activated, the boom automatically extends as the arm is lifted and retracts when lowered for almost vertical movement of the attachment up and down to improve machine stability.
There’s a more powerful 40hp Yanmar engine as well, and standing just 1.96m high and 1.56m wide its small dimensions make it ideal for farmers working in and around small sheds. It also offers buyers a maximum payload of 1.2t and lift height of 4.5m.
Also joining the Weidemann range is the 4270 CX100T. Now the maker’s largest machine in the category, the 7.5t machine is powered by a 101hp four-cylinder Perkins power plant.
The 4270 is based on the previous 4070 model, but now boasts a beefed-up chassis and reinforced telescopic arm. There is also a twin steering design, which reduces the number of turns to lock the wheels, improving handling in tricky ground conditions, according to the company.
Other smaller changes include an optional 150-litre proportional hydraulic control system, and an extra step for easier access.
