Wind tunnel will highlight importance of nozzle selection

Billericay Farm Services will have a first on their stand at Cereals – a wind tunnel. A purely visual display, the tunnel will demonstrate the important points relating to nozzle selection, particularly with regard to minimising drift (a key feature of all BFS nozzles).

The company will also have a new product on display – the angled cap. This enables any 8mm nozzle to be used at an angle. It works with all tee-jet and bayonet fittings.

To celebrate BFS’s 60th anniversary, the company will also be running a competition to win a weekend hospitality package for two at the British Grand Prix, on the qualifying day and race day itself on 5/6 July 2008 (travel and accommodation expenses are not included).

The winner and a guest will receive breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea; car parking; reserved grandstand seats; champagne reception; complimentary bar; souvenir programme and ear plugs.

Anyone involved in supplying spray technology products, or involved with growing crops, are invited to enter by visiting stand 606 and answering four simple questions. The tie-breaker requires entrants to guess the number of Billericay Air Bubble Jets in a container.
