Can you guess what it is yet?

Nope. Then look a little further, because underneath that tree are the remains of a New Holland 7840.
During maize harvest this unlucky driver his rear tyre blow out whilst heading down a hill in Gloucestershire. Not being able to stop, the tractor ended up careering across the road and landing on top of a tree.
First attempts to pull the tractor out using the contractor’s JCB 414 loading shovel proved unsuccessful.

With a little more grunt from the New Holland FX 48 forage harvester and by cutting some of the branches off the tree, the New Holland was pulled to safety.

Cutting the branches away revealed the true damage. A tractor without a front axle, glass and pretty much every panel dented.

Luckily the driver remained unscathed. The sorry looking tractor was pulled to another field and the maize was tipped in the clamp, with not a scratch on the trailer.
