WRECKERS YARD: Uplifting experience for corn-carting John Deere
While towing this 14t trailer up a hill in the Cotswolds, the driver of this John Deere 6620 stalled the engine, leaving him without brakes.
The result? The whole rig ran backwards down the road, through a dry-stone wall, spilling its load onto the field 4m (12ft) below.

The tractor’s back wheels were lifted clear of the road leaving the driver in a precarious position.

After closing the road for two hours a crane was brought in to lift everything back into place. Remarkably nothing was damaged apart from a bent light bracket on the trailer.
