21st death from new CJD strain
THE wife of a Kentish farm-worker has been named as the 21st victim of the new strain of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease.
Susan Careys husband worked near Ashford – the centre of one of the biggest clusters of bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE)-related deaths in Britain.
