ADM cuts soya crush

ARCHER Daniels Midland, the US agribusiness group, is cutting back on its soyabean crush because of poor margins in the industry.

It said weak demand coupled with large harvest had pushed margins to “unacceptable levels”.

It will close facilities in three locations until “market conditions improve”.
