Agriculture suffers in Chinese flood
AGRICULTURE has been one of the chief casualties in the relentless summer rains that have plagued China over the past two months, reports the Financial Times.
The unusually fierce seasonal flooding has forced the relocation of more than 14 million people and left farmland, roughly the combined areas of England and Ireland, under water.
